Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete personal information, subject to limited legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
How to make a request
Email privacy@textgopher.com with the request you’d like to make. We’ll confirm we received it and respond within the timeframe the law allows.
Verifying your request
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before we act — usually by confirming details already associated with you. We won’t use the information you provide for verification for any other purpose.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of the agent’s authorization and, where permitted, verification of your identity.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you’d still like to record an opt-out preference, email privacy@textgopher.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
If a business texted you through TextGopher™
When you contact a business that uses TextGopher™, that business decides how your information is used — we process it on their behalf. You can reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately, and we’ll help the business honor a request to access or delete your information. You can also reach us directly at the address above.
