SMS Messaging Policy

Program description
TextGopher sends appointment-scheduling and lead-response messages on behalf of local service businesses (such as plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, roofers, landscapers, and handymen) after a consumer calls the business or submits a form on its website. Messages identify the business by name, respond to the consumer's inquiry, gather scheduling details (such as the nature of the job, service address, and preferred time window), and confirm appointments. Messages are conversational and specific to the consumer's own request.
Consent
You will only receive messages through TextGopher if you first contacted a participating business — by calling its phone number or submitting its contact form. The first message always identifies the business and includes opt-out instructions. We do not send cold outreach, and businesses cannot use TextGopher to message purchased lists.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your conversation — typically a handful of messages to schedule a single service visit. Messaging about a request ends when the conversation concludes.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. TextGopher does not charge consumers to receive or send messages.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also work.) You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and then no further messages from that business's number. Your opt-out is recorded permanently and honored even if you call the business again. To resume messages, reply START.
Help
Reply HELP or INFO to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@textgopher.com. For questions about a specific service appointment, you can also contact the business you were texting with directly.
Privacy
Your phone number and message content are used only to respond to your inquiry on behalf of the business you contacted. They are not sold and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Carrier disclaimer
Carriers (including T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and your device's capabilities.
